Sea turtle saved by Newfoundland dog

The sea turtle in the video was very lucky. She owes the fact that she is still alive to a very special rescuer: the Newfoundland dog Weda, who found the stranded turtle.

It was a Monday morning on Ellisville Beach in Plymouth, USA. Veda, the two-year-old and a proud 55 kilogram Newfoundland dog, found the sea turtle in the sand. The bitch immediately ran back to her owners Leah and Brad Bares and barked. Veda immediately understood that something was wrong with the shellfish and acted in an exemplary manner. Today the turtle is doing well - it is being spiced up in the New England Aquarium and is already swimming happily through the pool, as you can see. A nice happy ending!
